T-Mobile and Sprint have their latest promotions in place tied to this week’s launch of the Apple iPhone SE model.

Apple’s latest iPhone SE model may not garner the typical headlines of a halo product launch from the smartphone giant, but the device’s price point has wireless carriers turning up their promotional activity surrounding this week’s launch.


T-Mobile US said beginning March 31, customers purchasing a new iPhone will be able to pick up a second model of equal or lesser value for half off. The deal includes the latest iPhone SE, as well as the 6s, 6s Plus, 6, 6 Plus, 5s and 5c. The discount does require customers to sign up for a new line of service, with the price reduction in the form of a rebate card.


Sprint said its iPhone SE promotion includes a 24-month installment plan priced at $16.67 per month for the base 16 GB model; customers can pay the full $400 retail price; or get the device for free with a two-year contract.
